T-Mobile has prided itself in its un-carrier moves, and now they’re launching their eleventh initiative, #GetThanked. Part of this huge move is to actually turn all current and new subscribers into stockholders of the company by giving one share each as a thank you gift. They are also launching the T-Mobile Tuesdays app where you will get new treats and freebies every week and get a chance to win huge prizes, also every week. Finally, you’ll get an hour free of Gogo WiFi for all domestic flights that are Gogo-equipped.
If you’re a T-Mobile customer, you’ll now get one stock of the company simply as part of their thank you to loyal customers. You don’t have to spend anything in claiming it, by signing up with their brokerage partner LOYAL3. If you’ve been with the un-carrier for more than five years, then you get two shares for every recommendation that you give for T-Mobile until 2017. So you can actually get as much as 100 shares in one year just through recommendation. It’s up to you if you want to keep them or sell them, and you won’t be charged either way.
Now if stocks aren’t your thing but freebies and treats are, then you’d want to download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app as every, well, Tuesday, you get treats like free movies, free dinners, free spa days, from various partners that your un-carrier has teamed up with. Plus, you also get the chance to win bigger prizes, like a free party bus treat for you and 40 of your friends to a private screening of Warcraft (the first prize to be raffled off), and later on free trips for two to Vegas, an expedition for two to Machu Pichu in Peru, a $10,000 shopping spree and trip to New York, etc.
Lastly, if you fly on domestic flights that have Gogo WiFi enabled there starting June 13, you’ll get an hour free Internet connection. You still get your free texts during the entire flight, but now you can add other messaging apps to it, plus browsing your social networks and posting pictures of your plane experience with free WiFi.
