Back in 2012, Susume Tactics made its debut on Sony’s PSP and was considered one of the best strategy games of its time and on the platform. Now, it is making its way to your Android mobile device, bringing you a fast-paced, real-time strategy game where the only objective you should keep in mind is that you must defend your mothership and annihilate all who want to destroy it. Whether you just need a few minutes distraction from your boring routine or you’re really in it for the long haul, this game has something for you.
The game has old-school vector-type graphics but that doesn’t mean it has no complexities whatsoever. In fact, there are 11 type of tank units you can play with, including sniper and long missile ones. You need to build, place, and direct them against wave after wave of enemies who want to destroy your ship, and eventually, your world. You get to control the tanks by swiping and tapping your way on your screen.
If you’re after high scores and you don’t have much time to spare, you can play in arcade mode where it will take you around 5 minutes to finish one game. But if you’re more into crafting a strategy and playing longer campaigns, then war mode is something that will tickle your fancy.
Susume Tactics is available on the Google Play Store and it will just cost you $3.99. There are no in-app purchases so that should be a good deal, if real-time strategy games are your cup of tea.
