If you work in an entry-level position at a huge office, you know that everyday is already a battle for survival in that corporate jungle out there. But what if you add even more impending disasters like erupting volcanoes, terrorist attacks, and even a zombie apocalypse? Well, then work will surely get more interesting. Disaster Office is now available for Android devices in all its 32-bit glory. If you enjoy retro-looking games with modern challenges, then you might want to try out this new one.
In Disaster Office, you play Jim (why are all generic office workers always named Jim?), just a regular office guy whose duty is to file, stamp, staple, cut, file, and all the other humdrum duties a guy like him is asked to do. Except in this universe, he would also need to dodge, jump, duck, throw weapons (you know, like staplers, erasers, etc), and even hide, as disaster after disaster comes upon the office.
There are five different levels representing the five days at work (thank god there isn’t any weekend overtime!), with each level presenting a different disaster scenario. You get to jump through the lava of the exploding volcano, throw some bombs at the attacking evil army, or when the zombies start coming out, you’d have no choice but to hide. All you need to do is get the hi-score at the end of the day in order to move on, or else you’d have to do it all over again.
You can download Disaster Office from the Google Play Store for free. The good news is, if there’s any good news to get from disasters, is that there are no in-app purchases so you get to enjoy the game totally for free.
