Another release rumor today is that the Sprint version of the Galaxy Tab will release on November 14th. We even get a price in the rumor, with the price for the Galaxy Tab said to be $399.
According to Boy Genius Report, the much hyped 7-inch tablet will hit the Sprint network on November 14 for $399 with a 2-year agreement. The off-contract price is said to be $599 and will come with no commitment attached.
This pricing strategy may seem high for such a device compared to the iPad which offers up more screen real estate for a lower price. One of the key features of the iPad is that it’s data is on a pay as you go system without the need for a contract, all while keeping the price down (entry at $499). Only time will tell how Samsung’s Tab will do being bound to contracts, but if the November 14th release date is correct we will find out before years end.
