When you have all the online services that you want or need, you may sometimes take it for granted that you have them or you assume that everyone has them. But for one reason or another, things like Google Play services are not readily available everywhere else. Today, that’s about to change, for two countries at least, and as far as Google Play Music is concerned. The online music streaming service is now available in Serbia and South Africa.
They may be in almost opposite sides of the hemisphere, but one thing that these two countries will have in common is that they can now have access to the millions of songs that are in GPM’s database, whether by purchasing whatever album or song that they want, or by subscribing to a monthly service where they can have unlimited streaming of all the songs that are available there.
Serbia previously had access to just Apps and Games in Google’s Store, and this is only the 2nd Play service that has become available there. Previously, Music appeared briefly, only to have it removed for one reason or another. But now it seems like it’s there to stay. As for South Africa, they have both Books and Apps/Games available from Google, and now Music is a much welcome addition.
Those living in both countries can buy albums and tracks, and all of them are priced in their local currency. As for the streaming, those in Serbia would have to shell out $4.99 monthly and those in South Africa, R49.99 every month, to enjoy unlimited streaming. They also get two free months first to check out if they do like the music service.
