For those of you not familiar with PlayStation Vue, this is Sony’s TV service that resides on the PlayStation 4 console. You have to pay Sony USD$50.00 per month, and it uses the Internet to stream numerous live TV channels, and the great thing is that you are free from long-term contracts. Now Sony is extending the reach of the service to Android with an official app.
The PlayStation Vue app just now launched via the Google Play Store and it basically extends the reach of the service which was initially just on the PS4 console. If you have an existing PS Vue subscription, you can now access all your favorite shows and best channels even on your Android device.
Of course, it goes without saying that this will go against whatever data plan you have, if you want to access the service while connected only to your mobile network. The convenience here is if you are on a robust WiFi connection, because you will be able to access your TV shows at the tip of your fingers.
Download the app now via the Google Play Store (download link below), it’s free to download. Of course, you need an existing PS Vue subscription, and that will cost you USD$50.00 a month.
