It seems as though Sony is prepping a follow-up to their Xperia Z1. The Z2, or ‘Sirius’ as it’s widely known, had some images leaked over the weekend. While it looks a lot like the Xperia Z1, the Z2 is getting significant upgrades. At just about every point on the list, the Z2 will be better than the already impressive Z1.

While not official just yet, the new specs for the Z2 are impressive nonetheless. Said to be sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p display, the Z2 will also come with a healthy 3GB RAM. The screen shots say 4.86-inches, and 1776 x 1080, but those don’t account for the software buttons. To scale, 5.2-inches sounds right.

The device also looks like it will get the Qualcomm MSM8974AB chipset, which is the Snapdragon 800. It clocks a healthy 2.3GHz, and brings with it an Adreno 330 GPU. Screenshots from Xperia Blog are from Andorid 4.3, but the device is also said to launch with Android 4.4 at launch.

We know what you’re thinking: what about the cameras? Sony is bringing back the 20-megapixel shooter, with a 20.7MP camera on the back of the device. A 2MP shooter up front makes for great video conferencing or selfies, too. We may not know everything, and these details are still unconfirmed, but wow. If this is what we’re getting with the newest Xperia Z, we hope Sony gets a lot more serious about bringing it stateside.
