The Sony Xperia X Compact, which we referred to as “a David that’s almost a Goliath” is now making its presence known across Europe. It has actually been available in select markets through several distribution channels, but now, through the Sony Mobile Store, it is ready for purchase in even more countries in the region. Prices vary per country of course, but the important thing is that it’s now available to be bought for those looking for a new device for themselves or for a loved one.
The “diminutive” smartphone has a 4.6-inch display with a 720p resolution which may not be the best when it comes to screen resolutions, but considering the size, then it’s just okay. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, which is their processor for the higher mid-range devices. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, plus a decent 2700 mAh battery. The main camera is a 23MP shooter which has the same specs as the Xperia XZ, including the triple imaging technology.
All three colors that the Xperia X Compact has released, the Mist Blue, and the more traditional Universal Black or White. Some of the countries where you’ll be able to purchase the devices include Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and of course, the UK.
Prices slightly vary across the different markets. In the UK, it’s £379 while in Sweden, it is priced at SEK 4,290. Poland prices it at 1,999 Zloty while the rest of the markets prices it at €449.
