Sony showed off the Xperia Ear Duo at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The pair brings dual listening experience to any audiophile. It will soon be available in the United States as Sony just announced it is now up for pre-order on Amazon. Each pair of the Sony Xperia Ear Duo will set you back for $279.99. It will be ready on Amazon starting the 25th of May. The wireless headset takes advantage of Sony’s very own Spatial Acoustic Conductor so the sound is transmitted directly into your ears. It doesn’t just allow noise cancellation because the pair can make the music you’re listening to blend with sounds from outside.
The Sony Xperia Ear Duo can be described as a reimagined wireless headset with Dual Listening technology. This means you won’t have to miss any notification even when listening to your favorite music playlist. It’s smart in a way the volume can adjust intelligently, depending on the background noise and your surroundings and as made possible by Sony’s Clear Phase audio technology.
Sony’s Xperia Ear Duo also uses the SPRITZER chip, a multi-sensor platform, and a Daily Assist feature. The latter can recognize time, location, and activities to deliver the relevant information you may need. Other functions include responding to head gestures with advanced sensors, voice control for quick assess to smart assistants, and a quad microphone. The pair is made of soft rubber and stainless aluminum for quality that will last a lifetime. The pair is IPX2 splash-proof so it’s protected from water or sweat. The Xperia Ear Duo will be available in Black and Gold styles.
