Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 now has a new firmware update. This latest update helps to improve general performance, speed and responsiveness, especially in messaging and the camera’s Ul. It also makes it easier to back-up and restore your applications. Lastly, in selected markets, PlayNow now features premium applications and games.
However, Android 2.1 is not part of this updated firmware. SE’s still a bit hazy on the exact details, but Android 2.1 is still expected to see life on the handset before the end of 2010. Unfortunately, it’s only July, so we still have a ways to wait.
