Smart Launcher Pro 3 adds a new quickstart layout, Material Design goodness

There are probably dozens to hundreds of launchers available for Android but only a few can be considered really efficient and easy to use. What’s the point of having a launcher? That is to speed up your device especially when trying to access an app or doing an important function on your smartphone. Launcher apps are quite useful these days because they make your Android device more organized, intuitive, and easily accessible.

Smart Launcher 3 is one of the most innovative launchers available in the Android market. It’s a premium app worth $3.92 but millions of people have been benefitting from it. About twenty million downloads have been made and this recent update makes the app more useful than ever. Smart Launcher 3 is not based on the AOSP launcher so it saves your RAM, battery, and requires only less resource. With Android 5.0 Lollipop now populating the Android platform, app has also been updated with Material Design elements.

As with most launchers, enjoy quick access to your favorite and frequently used apps. If you wish to start a second app, just double tap on an icon. And for easier search and identification, the apps list is sorted by categories automatically so you’ll know where to look.

The new Smart Launcher Pro 3 also features a flat surface detection, resizable widget for the home screen, editable label for apps, a new quickstart layout, and sort mode “by install time”. According to its developer GinLemon, this the biggest Smart Launcher update ever.
