Despite the name, or rather, the characteristics associated with the name, beasts are sometimes the most gentlest of creatures and not alway evil. Well, unless they’re under the spell of an evil wizard, that is. This is the world that you’re going into in Beast Quest, a new game available for your Android smartphones and tablets. The action-adventure game will take you to Avantia where you need to defeat wave after wave of enemies.
The game’s story begins when an evil wizard has put a spell on all the magical beasts in Avantia and they have become hell bent on destroying the entire land. Now you need to step up and become the warrior that the land needs, not just to defeat the beasts, but restore them to their right disposition. You will encounter dangerous enemies, giant beasts, and the minions of the evil wizard in various extreme locations like snowy peaks or sunny beaches on the other side of the world.
As you fight to save the beasts, you also get to find ancient artifacts and lost treasures and add them to your collection and get your points up as well. This will also help you to level up and upgrade your equipment so that you’ll be able to defeat or tame the beasts and shake them out of the spell. There are also various challenges, secret tasks and in-game achievements.
Beast Quest is available to download for free from the Google Play Store. There are also in-app purchases available, but not necessary to further your enjoyment of the game.
