Have you ever wondered if you actually need an 18-inch tablet in your life? Well if you never actually thought you needed a screen that large, unless you were sitting in front of a desktop or TV screen, then Samsung will reportedly try to change your mind. Reports are saying they are about to launch an 18.4-inch Android tablet in the market soon, on top of all the new tablets that they’ve already released this year.

Reports are saying that the SM-T670, codenamed “Tahoe”, is actually going to be Samsung’s biggest tablet offering so far. Aside from then 18.4” display, it will also have a TFT LCD Screen and a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will run on an octa-core 64-bit 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 processor and will have a 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, but with a microSD slot that can expand it to 128GB.

Since it’s a pretty large device, you won’t expect people to take pictures with it so the 8MP main camera and 2.1 MP front-facing camera should be enough. Although, if you’ll be doing video conferencing on it, then the resolution might not be that great. The battery will be at 5,700 mAh and the dimension of the tablet is reportedly at 451.8 mm wide, 275.8 mm tall, and 11.9 mm thick.

All of these are of course unconfirmed, so there isn’t a rumored name yet or even a timetable as to the expected release. Another thing that the Korean OEM is reportedly working on is a Windows 10-based tablet, with a 12-inch display, a 4GB RAM, and an S-Pen. That probably is of more interest to some people rather than a giant Android tablet.
