How do you know that Samsung is serious about getting people on board their mobile payment gateway called, obviously, Samsung Pay? Well, they seem to be willingly giving away an almost $50 wireless charger to whoever signs up for it, so we’re guessing that’s pretty serious. And with competition coming from Apple Pay and Android Pay, of course they would want leverage to get people to notice them and use them as an alternative to paying through cash or credit cards at restaurants and other merchants.
If you will activate your Samsung Pay app by adding a valid credit card or debit card to connect to it, you will receive an official Samsung wireless charger that you can use for your smartphone, if it has wireless charging support. You need to do it by November 8 to be able to get your freebie, and you would need to register your claim on a website by November 15 so you can actually get it (no word if it will be delivered or if you need to physically claim it.
If you don’t know what Samsung Pay is, it is a mobile cashless payment option that uses magnetic security transmission (MST) to allow you to make offline payments, cash withdrawals and the “traditional” online payments as well.
But of course, there are several conditions to this deal. First off, only four Samsung phones support Samsung Pay: Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, or Note5. And this is limited to US users only. So if you fit that bill and you haven’t activated it yet, head on over to the app, activate it, then go to this link to register and claim your wireless charger.

Samsung pay sounds good, but I hate it when they release new features and make it carrier specific. I have an s6 on Cricket, and no Samsung pay.
