T-Mobile may be more popular now for its non-conventional methods, services, and product offerings as directed by its outspoken CEO but the carrier is showing that it’s been working hard to make sure customers come first. One great example is the controversial Binge-On program that’s been making a lot subscribers happy with the free video streaming. It’s not perfect but one thing the company won’t compromise is the security of the customers.
No official announcement yet from T-Mobile but it will soon release an important update for the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. It’s the April update that is said to bring important bug fixes, minor improvements, and the official PC8 version. A software update notification was sighted recently so expect to receive it soon on your smartphone. That is, if you own a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge from T-Mobile.
Some of the important changes include overall improvement of device performance, stability of video recording, optimized battery life, and enhanced security. The April security patch is also an important item included in this software update. It’s the same security patch from Google.
The OTA should be push to your device anytime now. If you still haven’t received a notification, just go to Settings> About device> Check for updates.
