A new rumor has popped up surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S II that hails from South Korea. Apparently, the image you see here is the LTE version of the smartphone and it is said to be going by the codename Celox. Along with the photos, we also have some specs for the smartphone to peruse as well. It is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060 processor.
The smartphone also has a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution. The handset offers 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB more storage. The smartphone rocks Android Gingerbread and a 1750mAh battery. The key feature here though is that the smartphone has support for 800MHz LTE with up to 100Mbps downloads.
Celox sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera as well. Sadly, with the tip showing 800MHz LTE and AT&T and Verizon using 700MHz LTE the chance of this heading stateside are slim. We can hope that a version with 700MHz support shows up later, this would be a fantastic smartphone for fans in the US that want a 4G device.
