We’d like to believe this is no longer a rumor: there will be a Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy Note 7 edge. So there might not be a Galaxy S7 edge+ but at least there will still be a flat variant contrary to what we’ve been hearing the past week. Samsung Leaks (@NextGalaxyS) shared over on Twitter the new logos of the premium flagship phones that look similar to the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge logos. The logos also confirm that the South Korean tech giant is indeed skipping the Note 6.
Master Leakster Evan Blass has been posting Galaxy related confirmations about the next premium pair. He confirmed there will be an iris scanner, 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, microsSD card slot, 64GB onboard storage, 5MP camera, and IP68-certification. Blass also noted the devices will be ready in Black, Silver, and Blue. If you notice the blue color in the logos, it refers to the Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy device. We only know it’s called Blue Coral according to a recent application sighted.
This is an application filed to protect the ‘Blue Coral’ name. It’s not ordinary blue but Blue Coral. We’re guessing some vibrant blue or maybe something lighter than the blue Galaxy S6 edge from last year. Samsung hasn’t released a blue Galaxy S7/S7 edge so this Blue Coral could be this year’s something blue from the brand.
