The Galaxy Note 7 didn’t come with 6GB RAM as most of us expected. It only has 4GB RAM similar to the S7 and S7 edge. We let it pass because a higher RAM doesn’t always mean better performance as proven by the 6GB RAM-powered OnePlus 3. However, we’ve got information that there might be another variant to be released in China.
There’s a new rumor going around that the South Korean tech giant is considering to deliver a 6GB RAM Galaxy Note 7 in China according to a listing on the Chinese Industry and Information Technology Ministry and Geekbench. The info don’t look fake as some details make sense.
We’re still hopeful about this one. We’re not surprised that China will have a special version because the people there are more critical of mobile devices especially from Samsung. A 6GB RAM Galaxy Note 7 will absolutely be welcome but we can expect it will slightly even be more expensive than it already is.
Nothing has been confirmed yet but we’re crossing our fingers a higher-specced–128GB storage plus 6GB RAM–Samsung Galaxy Note 7 variant will be released. We’d like to see how Samsung will work on the higher RAM and improve the performance. Let’s wait and see. And oh, hopefully sooner than soon, please? We’ll hold off getting a Note 7 for now and wait if there’s going to be a 6GB version.
