Are you already confused with so many Samsung Galaxy devices out in the market, and very little distinguishing one line from the other? Well, get ready to be even more confused as the Korean OEM is set to release a new series which will be called On or O (depending on the region where it will be released) and is closely similar to the entry-level Galaxy J devices. The first two smartphones that will reportedly be released are the Galaxy Grand On and the Galaxy Mega On.
SAM Mobile says that they were able to get their hands on the specs of these two devices, and if these are true, then it seems that there is very little difference from other lines, and they may be considered a spin-off of existing ones. The bigger of the two is the Galaxy Mega On which has a 5.5-inch HD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, and weighs at 145 grams with dimensions of 151.8×77.5×8.2 mm. It will supposedly have just 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and 3,000 mAh battery. The camera will be 13MP for the main one and 5MP for the front-facing cam.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Grand On will be slightly smaller, having a 5-inch HD screen. This one will run on a 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 CPU, 1GB RAM, an 8MP main camera, and a 2,600 mAh battery. Internal storage and front camera will be the same as the Mega On. Of course it is lighter and thinner at 142×71.9×8.5 mm and 140 grams.
With internal specs almost the same as the Galaxy J5 and J7, the design might be the one that will make the Galaxy On or O series stand out from all the other entry-level Samsung devices, or even the gazillion other similar devices in the Android market.

This sucks man. 1.5 gigs with touchwiz? I’m not gonna do that. And its most likely about 250 dollars. I can get a mi4 for that. Sd801 and 4 gigs ram better than a sd410 with 1.5 gigs ram.
