We love it when benchmarks show up for new smartphones so we can see how they stack up to the devices already on the market and often benchmarks give up the goods on what hardware is running under the hood. A new set of benchmarks has surfaced recently that tells us what the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 has under the hood.
The smartphone benchmarks showed up in the GFXBench database. What we know about the smartphones so far is that it will get a 5.5-inch screen and the benchmarks show it running Android 4.4.4 when tested.
That Snapdragon Quad-core 64-bit CPU runs at 1.2GHz and memory is listed at 1.5GB. Graphics for the smartphone are handled via an Adreno 306 GPU. Other hardware features include a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Both of the cameras are capable of 1080p video recording.
Onboard storage is 12GB, but 4GB of that storage space is filled with the OS and software. It’s too bad we get no indication of the performance from this benchmark, but at least we know what sort of hardware the phablet will offer.

Nice specs for a Grand
Pathetic… No gyroscope? And still 1.2 quad and 1.4 gb ram? Even the first grand had a gyroscope…. And second grand sports a 1.2 quad and 1.5 gb ram
