Despite the heavy losses that the recall and end of production of the faulty Galaxy Note 7 brings, of course life has to go on for Samsung. And what better way to go on than to produce new devices that will hopefully earn back the trust of its customers. One of the upcoming smartphones as rumors and leaks have it is the Galaxy C9. It has recently been spotted on the TENAA website in China, and so an official announcement or even release may be upon us soon. Some photos of a supposed C9 Pro have also been leaked.

It’s not the first time that we’ve seen the expected high-end Galaxy C9 appear on various benchmarking sites. Its current appearance on TENAA even brought a few screenshots and have also confirmed what we’ve previously learned about the smartphone, like it has a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. There also seems to be an antenna design, with three slim lines at the top and bottom with the same color as the back panel. This may be a design achievement for Samsung, incorporating antenna bands with a metal-clad device.

It also seems that there will be a Galaxy C9 Pro variant, if you believe the other set of photos that have been leaked. Design-wise, it looks to carry the same tai-antenna band design. But other than that, not much is known about this variant, but we can expect it to have either a bigger display or higher specs than the Galaxy C9. It will also reportedly have Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold options, just like the Galaxy C9.

The TENAA listing confirms some of the previous specs that have been leaked. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 652 chipset and will reportedly have 6GB RAM, with 64GB internal storage that can still be expanded. For the camera, it may have a 16MP shooter for both the rear and front-facing ones. It will have a 4000 mAH battery and a fingerprint scanner on its home button. It is expected to be announced sometime this month or in November.
