For a while now, Samsung Gear smartwatch owners have been turning to the Gear Apps store to get their wearable apps and watch faces. That’s about to change as Samsung just announced that the Gear Apps has been integrated with Galaxy Apps. Starting today, March 31, you can get all your Gear needs from Samsung’s very own app store.
This news makes Galaxy Apps a one-stop shop for loyal Samsung Galaxy mobile and wearable device users. From exclusive mobile apps to Gear apps to games and entertainment, you can find everything right on the Galaxy Apps.
Gear products are provided their own section of exclusive apps that have been curated for the smartwatch users. Choose from the numerous apps, information streams, and health trackers available from the app store simply by checking the Gear tab you will see on the Galaxy Apps.
No need to download two separate apps so you can manage installed Android and wearable apps. You only need Galaxy Apps to search for new apps to install or watch faces to use. Updating is more convenient because you can easily find all your apps on the My Apps menu. Gear app previews can also be found on the updated Galaxy Apps.
Samsung also added a new set of complimentary watch faces designed by Mr. Time to Gear S2 owners. Feel free to check the watch face gallery and choose a design you want to use.
