We’ve said numerous things about the Note 7 especially days before the official launch and now that it’s out, we’re still expecting a barrage of news, information, comparisons, and reviews. Honestly, we didn’t hear anything cloud-related so we were surprised that the South Korean tech company announced the Samsung Cloud. It’s a new service that lets the mobile consumer save and backup data on the cloud.
If you have the Smart Switch, you’ll be happy to know that this particular feature is now integrated with Samsung Cloud. This means easier transfer and backup of all your content from one device to another. Everything from the settings to the apps, data, and layouts can be copied from one phone to the new one by simply saving them on the cloud. Free space provided is up to 15GB.
This cloud storage service is first offered by Samsung on the new Galaxy Note 7. It’s a major step for Samsung who continues to improve its game in the mobile industry. We have no idea where and when the company will launch the Samsung Cloud but according to a press release, “service availability and scope may vary by each region and market condition”.
Samsung Cloud may be just like any other cloud storage out there but this one is very generous. The 15GB free space is kinda big but that’s exactly what a Galaxy Note 7 user needs–more space.
