When a new flagship phone is released, expect the company and 3rd-parties to release accessories and attachments with it. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge were accompanied by a Clear View Case by the South Korean tech giant. A Samsung-made protective case should be of good quality but the latest transparent flip cover is ironically, scratching the display of the phone. This is according to some phone owners who were complaining about the scratches. This situation is very ironic because a phone case is supposed to protect the device from possible scratches.
Hard to believe? Apparently, a Galaxy S6 edge user shared on an XDA thread that his display screen had scratches because of the Clear View case. The user tried reaching out to Samsung UK for an explanation and a reply. This isn’t unbelievable because some guys have also tried the Clear View case and the same result happened–some scratches on the screen are visible.
Some scuffs and scratches are on the screen. Others are also complaining about the lack of functionality. The only major thing you can do with it is view notifications and answer calls. You can’t even interact with the notifications you see on screen. It offers limited functions so it’s not as useful as expected.
Samsung may have failed on this one but who knows, there might be some “secret” features and functions that we don’t know yet. We’re curious as to how Samsung will reply on this issue. Let’s wait and see.

Fuck sammy. I will never buy another phone from they so is probably the second worst phone I have ever had right being the galaxy nexus I bought. This phone sucks.
I don’t understand, how many people more have to do complaint? I’m thinking Samsung doesn’t want to admit their blame.
So this is the cause! I have the same issue that I noticed maybe a week after I got my s6 clearview case. I just assumed I didn’t notice it from before I got the case. Well shit.
Banjo999, could you contact Samsung to explain the problem, because it doesn’t want to believe for this problem. Everyone which used this cover has scratches , indeed!
