A new report from software firm called Good Technology has stoked the flames of the rivalry between iOS on the iPhone and Android devices. There have been many conflicting reports recently that have claimed one OS or the other is ahead of the other in usage. The back and forth is confusing for many.
The new report claims that the iOS iPhone is ahead of Android in enterprise activations for the Good Technology messaging software. According to Good Technology 56% of new activations form June to September for its mobile messaging and device management software were for iOS devices.
Over the same period, the company says that Android accounted for 28% of its new activations. At the far end of the spectrum, Windows Mobile smartphones had 15% of the new activations for the software. Good Software did mention that it expected the coming Android tablets to change things a bit in the market.
