Believe it or not, there are some mobile users that only look for dual SIM support and compatibility when looking for a new smartphone. Being able to use two SIM cards on one mobile device is important to some people. The process of swapping SIM cards is not really much of a big deal but there is still a way to improve it. Usually, you need to turn off the phone to exchange a card so rebooting is inevitable.

Only a few manufacturers like HTC and Apple have improved on such and finally, Samsung is joining the trend with the new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Putting in a new SIM card will no longer require turning off the power and turning it back on. Actually, this is the first time the company is offering a dual SIM support for the global model so it only makes sense why it’s bringing this hot swapping feature just now.

Don’t be surprised if you try to swap SIM cards and the phone won’t require you to power off. It’s not really a big deal but not having to reboot or restart saves a few seconds of your precious time. Those who live in Asia will find this advancement pretty useful.
