If you’re one of those people that think PowerPoint and Keynote are so year 2000, then you’ve probably have been enjoying making your work or school presentations on this thing called Prezi. This platform has been around for some years now, but they have only now released their app for Android devices, as it has been one of the most requested products for the developers from their audience. And now it is here, giving you the ability to carry your Prezis wherever you go.
You will now be able to present your Prezi wherever you are, even without your desktop, since the app has cloud syncing and stores all the presentations you’ve made. It doesn’t matter if you used a different device to create or edit it, as long as you’ve saved it to your account, you’ll be able to access it. You don’t even have to be there to actually present the Prezi, as it has a remote mobile presenting function where you can invite up to 30 people to view whatever you want them to know, whether it’s for work or for school.
You will also have access not just to your own presentations, but also those that are found online and those that have been shared by your contacts (or even strangers). And you don’t even have to have Internet access for your own presentations since there is an offline view for your chosen prezis. Sharing your prezis is of course easier to do now that you have an app, and you can do it through email or through any of the chat apps you use.
If you need to present your prezis on a larger screen, you can use Chromecast (although it will only work for supported devices of course). You can download the Prezi Android app through the Google Play Store and the best thing is that it’s for free.
