If you want to make sure that you have a Moto X Pure Edition already when it hits the market this fall, then we have good news for you. The pre-orders for the new flagship starts today, at least in the US. This smartphone will bring you the “pure Android experience,” meaning you can use it without being tied down to just one carrier. But the price point varies of course since you can still customize it using the Moto Maker.
The Moto X Pure edition will have a 5.7 inch 1440p display and will be running on 1.8GHz Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 808 with hexa-core CPU. Users can choose among the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants when buying through Moto Maker. But if that still isn’t enough, you can still expand storage by using a 128GB micro SD card. It also has a 21 megapixel camera with flash and a lot of other features. Another feature they’re bandying about is the TurboPower charging that will supposedly give you all-day battery life.
For those outside the US who want this smartphone as well, the only info we know so far is what the Motorola UK Twitter account revealed, which isn’t much. They said that the Moto X Style (which is the international name of the Moto X Pure Edition) will be arriving “very soon”.
The price of the Moto X Pure Edition will start at $399.99. And while the pre-order starts today, there isn’t any clear date yet as to when they will start shipping the devices, except to say that it will be sometime this fall.

It’s been 24 hours since they announced it would start pre-order today, Like a lot of people I stayed up to the wee morning hours and it never went online. One guy said it will probably go on sale about the same time of day the announced it yesterday, but that’s been over 24 hours ago, so we are past that time. Was this a late April fool’s joke?
