You see a lot of car racing games out there, but rarely do you see trains racing. Well, there is a reason for that probably, but since we’re dealing with fantasy in games, why not do it? A new endless runner game called Paper Train: Rush may be the train racing game you’re looking for, even though the vehicles here are made of, obviously, paper. But if you don’t mind racing cardboard trains in a cardboard world with cardboard toys and characters, then get this game for you or for your kids.
Even though this endless runner looks like it’s been designed for children, adults will also find something charming about the game. It is extremely colorful, action-filled, and each run always offers you something different, whether it’s new characters, new locations and sceneries, various train designs, etc. All you need to do is run through the various stages, collect coins along the way, jump over the obstacles along the way, and of course, avoid colliding with oncoming or parked trains.
There are 5 different continents, all with its various visual themes, 6 parallel dimensions, 14 various train designs, and 15 different vest-pocket characters that you can play and interact with. You can even pull off “train stunts” to make the game even more exciting. If a kid is playing the game though, you’d have to explain that trains don’t do that in real life, lest they demand that the train you’re riding flip over or race the other trains or something.
You can download Paper Train: Rush from the Google Play Store for free. There are in-app purchases available so make sure your permission settings are set properly.
