The past decade will not just be known as the digital period, the era of the selfie, or the ephemeral generation, but also as the multi-tasking age. When you’re on your mobile device, you’re not just focused on one thing. In fact, you probably have more than 5 apps open at the same time and you just toggle amongst them. Apps that help you multi-task are always welcome, and even if this new one called Pintasking is still in open beta, it’s actually a pretty great app already.
The basic idea of the app is to save and easily access the recent app, document and even sites that you’ve been using or looking at. There is a literal pin that you pull down from the taskbar, and it helps you switch in between the things you need at that time. The app has an extensive library of customization options that make it fun to use, according to your needs and preference.
You can customize the way the pin looks and behaves, and even the size of the pin itself. The swipe pad, which gives you the access to your pinned apps is also customizable, like action, position, height controls so that it can be most comfortable for you. You will also be able to collect links without having to leave the current app you’re using.
Even if it’s in beta mode, the app already has Material Design and great features, although it is still often buggy. If you’re already on Android 5.0 Lollipop, you need to give it root access to be able to use the app. The Pro version is free on beta until May 11, so if you feel like you need something like this, you can download it now from the Google Play Store.
