Gold pink seems to be the color of the moment when it comes to gadgets, and Samsung is not going to be late to the game. A Galaxy S6 edge+ in that color has been released in China, but there is no word yet if this will eventually be available in other markets. Aside from the color, there isn’t much difference from the original version, and the price is also the same.
This isn’t the first time that Samsung has released a different color variant as the Galaxy S6 had Emerald Green and Blue Topaz. The Pink Gold Galaxy S6 edge+ has the same 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with the 2,560 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution and a Corning Glass 4 that will protect the screen. It runs on an octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC and has 4GB RAM. It is on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but of course eventually it will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a 16MP main camera with LED flash and IOS while the front-facing camera is 5MP so you can take good selfies. In terms of storage, you can have either 32 or 64GB for the internal one. Unfortunately, just like the original device, it doesn’t have support for microSD card for expansion.
The Pink Gold Galaxy S6 edge+ is priced the same as the original one. In dollars, it’s between $680-$780. While it may actually come out to other markets, for now it will only be available in China.
