Do you remember back in the day when you were in high school and you had to solve your school physics problems on your own, without the aid of Google or apps? Well, if you were alive during a time like that and you didn’t like the subject or struggled with it, then you probably will resent this current generation as they have so much more tools to make sense of things like gravity, kinematics, capacitance, etc. One such helper is an app called PhyWiz, which is now available for Android smartphones and tablets.
Whether you genuinely like Physics or you absolutely hate it, this app is pretty useful both for academic or for just recreational purposes (if you’re one of those). It will help students understand and solve their physics homework if what they were taught in school or in the books aren’t enough to help them understand. Or if you just miss physics and want to challenge yourself by asking questions, solving problems, answering the practice questions, then this is a pretty handy app to have.
There are over 100 equations that you can find here, as well as 30 physics topics like blackbody radiation, double-slit experiment, diffraction grating, etc. There are also more than 300 free physics questions that you can answer. And if you have a question you’d like to ask the app (or rather the people running the app), then you can ask it and get an answer instantly (or so they claim).
The app also comes with the Material Design look and it even has a dark theme in case your physics study turns into a late night session. You can download PhyWiz – Physics Solver from the Google Play Store for free, with in-app purchases.
