Never Settle. OnePlus isn’t settling on the announced price for the new OnePlus 3 flagship but that’s okay. We understand the situation. We didn’t really see the #brexit happening and we already expected that the pricing structure would be affected. You see, the GBP has been going down against USD the past couple of years but the situation is about to worsen. Because of this, OnePlus has to change the price so at least the company won’t experience a huge loss.
Business is business. That’s fine. We’re hoping though that those who pre-ordered for the OnePlus 3 or are planning to buy a new one will understand the change. It’s a small increase anyway from £309 to £329 in the United Kingdom. That’s about $402 to $429 in USD. The change will officially happen on Monday, July 11, which means you have less than a week to still get the OnePlus 3 in its original price. For the accessories, be glad to know their prices will not be changed.
As promised, OnePlus is informing its fans and followers a heads up. There will be some losses for the company for a while but hopefully, the new prices will improve cashflow and bring in sales. We have no idea if prices for the original OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 will see some changes in the coming weeks but we’ll update you soon.
