As if the two previous games weren’t strange enough, Oddworld is back with another new adventure for some oddball characters in Munch’s Oddysee, now out on Android. This adventure game features some of the things you already love about this new game series and if you’re just new to the game, you’ll find something that might interest you and prove once and for all that you are also a strange creature. And we don’t mean that in bad way, don’t worry.
If you’ve been a long-time Xbox gamer, then you’ve probably played an Oddworld game back in the day when gaming consoles were still prevalent. After more than a decade, now it is finally available for gamers who want to be able to play this game wherever they are. In this game, your job is to guide Mudokon champion Abe and his gabbit (yes, not rabbit) partner Munch so that you can reclaim the last gabbit eggs on Oddworld, as the specie is about to go extinct. These eggs have been eggs have been placed in a can of gabbier.
In order to do so, you would need to use your special psychic powers, cool powerups, and special abilities to deliver payback. Okay, so even if you didn’t understand any of that gabbit and gabbier stuff, all you need to know is that this is an exciting game to have on your mobile if it’s anything like the original game. The touch controls are intuitive, the script hilarious, and the game overall is deep but charming.
You can download Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee from the Google Play Store for just $4.99. There are no other in-app purchases needed to be able to enjoy this game.
