A new Nokia smartphone has turned up with some details for the device surfacing in Geekbench benchmarks. The smartphone is the Nokia 1100 and according to the benchmark screenshot, it scored a 347 for single core and a 664 for multi-core.
The benchmark is dated February 20 and surprisingly we haven’t heard anything about this device during MWC, at least not so far. The OS on the smartphone is Android 5.0 and the processor under the hood is an ARM MT6582 unit running at 1.3GHz.
That processor is a quad core unit. That is all we know about the smartphone at this time. There are no leaked images showing us what the device might look like. The only other tidbit in the benchmark result sheet has to do with the processor ID.
That ID lists an ARM implementer 65 architecture 7 variant 0 part 3079 revision 3. I am sure we will hear more about this device in the coming days or weeks. We are definitely on the lookout for more details to share about the smartphone.
