Amazon has made many great contributions to the smart home industry with the introduction of the Echo line and the smart assistant known as Alexa. This voice assistant is now integrated with several products and services and we don’t think it is going away anytime soon. Alexa will remain and will continue to compete with the Google Home. The Amazon Echo, being the first device, to utilize it, has since received many new models including the Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Show, and the Echo Spot.
More will be added to the list but before we get to see the next-gen Alexa-powered devices, let’s try to make the present Echo products better by making their batteries last longer. If you can’t optimize battery life, then you can just use a portable battery case like this one from Ninety7: the Sky battery sleeve. Taking on the removable speaker mesh design of the 2nd-gen Echo, this Sky sleeve is easy to use. It comes with a lithium-ion battery pack plus a carry handle to make it more portable.
The Ninety7 Sky Battery Sleeve includes an 8800 mAh battery so the Echo can last up to eight hours more. It makes the new Echo model look taller at 8.1-inches from the usual 5.8-inch form but still shorter than the Echo Plus or the 1st-gen Echo.
The Ninety7 Sky is available for pre-order for $59.95.The item should be ready next month so try to order for one now at only $49.95.
