If you’re in the UK and looking for a Nexus 7 3G, you’re in luck, because the ASUS-built tablet is back in stock. The tablet is priced at priced at £239 with 32GB of storage and an unlocked HSPA+ modem. According to Google Play, the tablet is scheduled to ship 3-5 days.

The tablet is designed to work across most European 3G networks. The HSPA+ model supports pentaband 3G (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz). The tablet does not come with a SIM or data plan. Instead, buyers of the device are able to shop around and find a data plan from one of many carriers that meets their needs. This is great because it doesn’t force a certain carrier on consumers.

The tablet has been unavailable for the past week or so, as demand for the 3G version of the tablet was more than Google could keep up with. Besides just being a really good tablet, the low cost of ownership is certainly a leading factor for its popularity. After all, it comes in at £130 less than the cheapest iPad mini WiFi + Cellular.

While we come with good news for people looking to grab a 3G Nexus 7, we don’t have the same for people looking to snag a Nexus 4. Google still has no estimate for when the Nexus 4 is going to be back in stock in the UK. For people who cannot wait, Three and other UK carriers are offering the device, but the prices are a little higher than Google’s.

  1. Too late, they are sold out again!! (really annoying as it looks like they haven’t ordered enough, and you can’t pre-order either…)
