While HTC is getting busy for the launch of its next flagship, another Taiwanese tech company is preparing to introduce a new laptop. Based on a video teaser, the 2016 Next@Acer Event happening on April 21 will be about a new notebook computer. It could be another Chromebook model since the Chromebook 11 was released last February. It could also be the next convertible Chromebook as a follow-up to the R11.
We don’t have much details on the products to be unveiled next but launch will be held in New York City. Acer will be showing off its latest products and services which may also include a new Liquid smartphone, tablet, laptop, computer, Chromebook, health tracking device, or maybe a smartwatch finally.
The annual Next@Acer event usually held in New Yok is the launching pad for the company’s newest products. Last year, Acer introduced new 2-in-1s, convertible notebooks, Iconia tablets, and all-in-one computers among others. The company is set to expand its product lineup. Maybe we’ll also see a new Windows 10-powered smartphone or a Windows 10 laptop.
If you can’t be in New York for the actual April 21 launch, just watch the live streaming on YouTube or on Acer’s website.
