Battery extenders and battery packs are already a necessity and not a luxury especially for people who are always on the go and heavy smartphone users. But sometimes, they can be so bulky and the connector wires can be a hassle and if you forget the wires, then they’re practically useless. So some brilliant people invented the battery case and all has become right with the world (at least when it comes to your phone’s battery life). Mugen has released three new products for Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and LG G3 users.
The Mugen Power 3700mAh Battery Case is especially made for the Sony Xperia Z3 as its replacement battery. It will give your smartphone up to 119% more battery power. Meanwhile, the Mugen Power 3000mAh can be used for the Xperia Z3 Compact, the Xperia Z1 Compact and the Xperia A1. It has the ability to power any of those devices up to 115%. Lastly, the Mugen Power 6200mAh Extended battery works with the LG G3 Dual LTE D858 and the G3 Dual LTE D856 and this time, it has a battery door. Since the mAh is bigger, your smartphone can last 2.07 times as long.
Mugen claims that compared to other battery brands, it has higher capacity, longevity and safety and can even improve on the run time of the original brand replacement. Battery cases are indeed much more convenient for heavy smartphone users, although sometimes, design-wise, it leaves much to be desired. But of course you’d choose longer battery life over aesthetics anytime right?
All three battery cases cost $89.50 each and will be available on Mugen’s e-commerce site. Shipping is expected to start by December 5, but you can place your pre-orders now. You will even get discounts if you share the products on your Facebook, if you’re not averse to the Mugen account having access to your profile.
Terrifying and ugly. The Xperia Z3 series doesn’t need extra juice. It’s own battery lasts for up to 2 days.
