Motorola has introduced a new way for you to find your missing phone: the Keylink. It’s a small device that you can attach to your keychain. This works with a compatible Motorola Connect app installed on your smartphone. So whenever you misplace your phone, you can just click on the Keylink at it will locate your device.
This will be particularly handy for the likes of me who often misplaces gadgets. You know those times when you can’t seem to remember where you placed your phone or tablet and yes, especially the remote? It always happens. Press the button on the Keylink and the device will ring even if it’s 100 feet away. But if the Keylink gets lost, you can also use the Motorola Connect App to locate it. (And if you get lost, sorry but the Keylink can’t do anything about it.)
Keylink is compatible with Android. Just download the Motorola Connect app from the Google Play Store and you can be worry-free. For Droid Turbo, 2nd gen Moto X, and other phone that runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, you also set up the Keylink and Connect app to keep the smartphone unlocked when the Keylink is near. No need to enter password whenever you have to use the phone because the Keylink will automatically recognize the trusted device.
The Keylink is powered by a small coin cell battery which can last for up to a year. It’s only $24.99, available from T-Mobile and Motorola.com
