Having been the subject of nebulous rumor recently, a listing for the Motorola Droid Xtreme MB810 has been spotted in Verizon’s database. PhoneArena‘s tipster couldn’t share any hardware details, but it’s been speculated that the Xtreme might be Motorola’s high-spec successor to the original Motorola DROID.
The handset is said to be definitely different to the Motorola Shadow, and will likely have a slide-out hardware keyboard of some sort (whereas the Shadow is a touchscreen-only device). Whether its appearance – together with accessories including docks and cases – in Verizon’s systems means it’s fast approaching the market we can only guess at.
