The Moto G, Motorola’s apparent encore for the Moto X, is set to be unveiled on November 13th. While we have seen the teaser page pop-up, we will now have access to the livestream of the event. Interestingly enough, it’s a very Google event.
The livestream, rather than being done via the Motorola website, will be a Google+ event. From Sao Paulo, Brazil, Motorola will share with us the newest addition to their family of products. The G joins the Moto X and Droid lineup for Verizon as Motorola’s only mobile products.
Just what the Moto G will be, we’re still not sure. Carefully guarded, specs are unknown. We believe it will be a lot like the Moto X, at least when considering the screen. From there, we’re hearing the rest of the hardware will scale downward as well, with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and 5MP rear camera. If true, this leads us to believe that the other rumors about the Moto G essentially serving as the entry level Moto X.
If you want to check it out, head on over to the Moto G Google+ event page and sign up. We like that Motorola decided to host the event in Brazil, too. South America is an emerging market that is often overlooked. Being the largest country in South America, and upcoming host of the Olympic Games, Brazil is a great spot to stake claim for Motorola.
