The Moto G has many smartphone customers excited. For those stepping up from a feature phone, the Moto G brings an attractive price point without the need for a contract. It also packs a good enough battery to last the day, and specs that won’t disappoint for those who are just looking for something else.
The Moto G is currently on sale for $150 outright via Koodo Mobile. A subsidiary of TELUS, Koodo is meant as coverage for the cost conscious consumer. The device on offer is the 8GB black variety, and also comes with a $50 bonus to be mailed 6-8 weeks after the phone is purchased. If you’re interested, it’s probably a good idea to jump on the offer; we can’t say how long it will last.
Amazon is also listing the Moto G, with a ship dat of December 4. The price is $199 for the 16GB model, and $179 for the 8GB variety. Unfortunately, this device is only available for service via AT&T domestically, as it’s the global GSM variant that doesn’t work with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ signal.
The Amazon prices are the same as you’ll get via the Motorola website, also. If you’re a T-Mobile customer, you can also order the US GSM version via Motorola, which gives you the phone you need at the price you want. The only difference is that Amazon ships a bit quicker, with Motorola sending the device out on December 9th.
