We initially gave you a list of the first wave of devices to get nightly builds of CM14.1 – the parallel CyanogenMod AOSP fork of Android 7.1 Nougat. Now we’re getting additional devices that now have CM14.1 nightly builds. Of course, by the name “nightlies,” please understand that these custom ROM builds are not yet perfect specimens. But nonetheless, they are here now.
The new devices getting CM14.1 nightlies include high profile devices such as the Nexus 6 (shamu), Nexus 7 2013 WiFi (flo), Nexus 7 2013 4G (deb), OnePlus One (bacon), and the OnePlus 2 (oneplus2). Please note that most of these devices will not have or do not have official Nougat builds yet, so the features on CM14.1 will surely be a little bit touch and go. As the build matures, you can expect a better performance – but these are just preliminary nightly builds.
Included in the list as well are these devices: the Sony Xperia V (tsubasa), Sony Xperia TX (hayabusa), Sony Xperia T (mint), Sony Xperia SP (huashan), and the Moto G 2015 (osprey). The Nook Tablet will also be getting a CM14.1 nightly, but the files for the ROM have not arrived at the download page yet.
If you want to check out these nightlies, head on over to the official CyanogenMod download page and get the files specific for your devie. Remember, flashing a ROM that is not for your device may cause your device to be bricked.
