The Google app for Android has been receiving regular updates lately. That’s not surprising because Google is really serious with mobile users getting the most out of search and their devices. The app’s Now cards are just a few of the features that provide relevant information to people even without searching or asking for it. Google automatically shows Now cards what it thinks would benefit the user.

Information on the current games’ scores, shopping tips, favorite music, hotel deals, news, weather, flight status and more will be shown on your phone. Sure, you can easily open a website or search on your web browser to view numerous information but you can skip that one by simply setting notifications to display the details you want to know.

Be always in the know with Google app. Notifications are becoming more useful now that’s why there are a lot of launcher apps coming out. With Google’s Now cards, you can easily see the information you need from 40 different apps like The Guardian for news, Airbnb for travel deals, Duolingo for French lessons, Instacart for listing groceries and reminders, and Pandora for recommendations on new songs to listen to. When traveling you can also receive Now cards about your travel destination

According to the search giant, they’ve worked with more than 30 plus developers to bring new Now cards on the native Google app. More will be added in the next few months to make your mobile life easier and more convenient.

  1. i hate Google now. They put a notification in my nexus that showed the Super bowl score. Which would be fine if I needed to be reminded to watch the biggest event in the NFL. And even then why show the score. I was going to watch it in the morning the day after in the UK. Turned my nexus on to load the NFL app, went to set up WiFi and boom, there’s the score!
