Monsoon Multimedia has announced a new app for the Android platform that allows streaming and mobile video recording using the Vulkano Deluxe and Vulkano Deluxe Pro set top boxes.
The app has some cool features that will let the user have impressive amounts of control over where and how they watch programs on the Android smartphone. The app turns the Android device into a mobile video recorder. Live TV can be viewed and controlled using the App and recorded shows can be played on the phone.
The app allows the user to pause, record, and rewind/fast forward the video. Recordings can be scheduled using the app and those recordings can be selected from the electric program guide. The app is free, the Vulkano Deluxe is $259, and the Pro version is $349.
