If you didn’t know yet that Chromecast is more than just for streaming your favorite movies and TV shows (and music for Chromecast Audio), now is the best time to find out. Popular game developer Hasbro has added Cast support for two of its titles, Monopoly Here & Now and Yahtzee Blitz. So now, you can enjoy the HDMI dongle as a sort of mobile gaming console for several games, including the aforementioned two that have become more than just popular tabletop games.
Monopoly of course is the game that first taught us how to become rich business moguls while Yahtzee showed us the power of the dice (and screaming out during the game). And now, you will be able to enjoy playing these games on a much bigger screen, and with other people to boot! While a lot of new mobile games are of course fun to play on your own, admit it, you sometimes miss having the social interaction from these games. So now, because of Chromecast, you can get the whole family or the whole party to play Monopoly and Yahtzee.
When you cast the games onto your large TV screen, you can actually get as many as four people to play it. All the other players have to do is to download the game app on their devices, and then connect to the same network as the Chromecast. Another Hasbro title, Catch Phrase Blitz has also previously received Chromecast support.
You can download Monopoly Here & Now Big Screen and Yahtzee Blitz Big Screen from the Google Play Store of course for free. There are some in-app purchases available.
