Oh to harp back to the times when all you needed for gaming was your trusty MS-DOS-powered computer and a floppy disk. Right on time, MojoTouch appeals to your nostalgia with “Flight of the Amazon Queen”, released for MS-DOS in 1995 and now making its way to your Android device.

Flight of the Amazon Queen is an Indiana Jones-style adventure released for MS-DOS and the Amiga all the way back to the mid-90s. The game’s storyline follows a pilot named Joe King as he flies a movie star into the Amazon jungle for a shoot. Of course, that will be the time the crap hits the fan and our pilot turns into an adventurer to save the day.
The plot extends to mad scientists, Amazonian tribes, and familiar puzzle-solving mechanics. All of this is accessible through point-and-click gameplay. Of course, if you want this for your PC, the game has been available as freeware for over a decade now. The Android version is a “20th anniversary” effort which features the original voice acting, mobile controls, easier interaction, and new animations.

If you fancy bringing this game along on your mobile, it is downloadable via the link below for USD$4.00. No other purchases and IAPs required. Tell us if you checked this out.
