Most of you have probably tried IFTTT or are already addicted to it. There are too many channels available already but others are still having a hard time figuring it out. This task automation is something needed by most mobile users, however, some people don’t realize it yet. For sure, they may be instances that you’ve thought of a task and then wishing that another task can be automated. Joining this game is Microsoft with the CAP–short for Conditional Action Programmer.
The idea of the Conditional Action Programmer by the Microsoft Research team is very similar to IFTTT. This one is another alternative where people can create new flows of actions that link online data and several conditions to other services. The concept is that information are shared or passed along to another end to do a particular task. The action can be automated to make things easier for the user.
It’s really like IFTTT although this one is for the web only. The Microsoft developers are believed to be working on the Android version but may take a while. The CAP is like having a natural and automated language that understands the user.
Many tasks can be created especially with the help of speech recognition. Microsoft is still developing the system on desktop and mobile so feel free to also test the device, think of more possible conditions, and future abilities.

By just reading the description this will be more alike Zapier than IFTTT.
