Yu recently introduced a new mobile device in its native India. The new phablet, officially called as the Yu Yureka Note, comes with a 6-inch display screen and coasts of a dual speaker system. The massive screen makes it ideal for watching videos while the dual speakers offer great audio quality. Priced at only Rs. 13,499 which is about $204 in the US, the phablet is now ready for purchase from retail stores in India.
Retail store availability is a bit surprising because if you may remember, Micromax said before that Yu will be sold online only. This change is expected to bring in more sales to the company. The Yureka Note phablet is targeted to offer the “ultimate multimedia and gaming experience”. It comes equipped with a 6-inch screen, Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution display, 370ppi pixel density, octa-core MediaTek MTK6753T processor, 3GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 5MP selfie cam, 16GB onboard storage, microSD card slot, and a 4000mAh battery.
Audio quality is impressive courtesy of the dual speakers powered by NXP smart PA technology. The phone-tablet also boasts of the standard WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB connectivity, and a new fingerprint sensor. If you know the Yu Yunique, this one looks very similar. It’s bigger but you’ll see the familiar volume and power buttons, speakers at the bottom back side, and the Saturn Ring camera design.
The Yu Yureka Note is perfect for the audiophiles who will spend a lot of time listening to and appreciating music, play the latest mobile games, and watch the newest videos on YouTube or from any other streaming sources.
